Auto Club Branches Help Summer Fun Planning With Discount Tickets

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 30, 2011) - AAA members planning their getaways and in-town entertainment for this summer can now visit Automobile Club of Southern California branches to purchase local attraction tickets at significant discounts.

Auto Club branches are currently selling discount attraction tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific, LEGOLAND® California Resort, SeaWorld San Diego, the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. In most cases, the in-branch ticket prices are lower than the member discounts available at the attraction gate or website.

"Members already visit Auto Club branches to pick up maps for their summer trips and to take advantage of our travel deals, and these discount tickets are yet another way for members to save on their summer plans," said Denise Bialek, the Auto Club's group manager for membership value programs. "With just one or two family outings to a local theme park, members will have paid for the cost of their membership with the savings they get from buying tickets in our branches."

Discounted ticket prices are good only for tickets purchased at Auto Club branches -- lesser AAA discounts may be available on the attraction websites or at the gate. Prices are subject to change without notice, but as of June 29, 2011, the member discount prices are:

First of all you can easily get discounted tickets from virtually any hotel you stay at in Mission Valley/Mission Bay. Other hotels in San Diego also might offer discounted tickets.

At SeaWorld, wear sunscreen. That is not even a suggestion, it is something you need to do. I went last week and didn’t wear any because it was cloudy and I still got extremely sunburnt. grr.

You should definitely see Shamu, the Dolphins, the Shark Experience, the Arctic experience, and the Cirque attraction.

Restaurants are whatever you choose, there are different varieties all over the park.

Sea World gives you a map when you walk in so it is best to plan your day around the shows (which are all great). The shows fill up early if it is crowded so you need to get your seats at least 30 min before the shows. Try to get the shows out of the way first in case you can’t get seats the first time around. In between shows do the sky tower and pet and feed the dolphins and starfish. Also, if it is crowded the lines will be long for all of the rides, so plan for that, too. Getting there really early and staying really late are your best bets for seeing everything on a crowded day.

like everyone else is saying.. the shows are very fun. sit in the front if you wanna get wet for the shamu shows;P

also.. if your rich..lol you can do things like swim with the dolphins! thats 200 dollars… i think you can feed them for like 45? they have other stuff like that just make sure to check the web:)
