Shaquille Stoutt pitches Mariners to championship win

The result gave them the series 2-0 and once again it was Shaquille Stoutt who powered them home from the mound and the plate. He took the win and also went 2 for 4, scoring 3 runs and knocking in 3 more. Shamoii Dagou scored 2 and had 3 RBI’s from 5 at bats. In total the Mariners had 13 hits made 9 errors and left 6 on base.  For the White Sox Carlos Maynard hit a home run, scored 3 and knocked in 3 more.

The Rays knocked out the Astros in the Junior Mens league with a 17-10 victory that saw them move onto to meet the Orioles in the championship series. Machino Maduro was the winning pitcher and he also scored 3 and had 3 RBI’s. For the outplayed Astros, Li’Shaquah Fahie scored 2.

Maduro continued pitching well in game 1 and took the win as the Rays downed the Orioles 19-10.

Dequan Leonard hit a homer and scored 3, Kevin Bodkin scored twice.

In the Junior Women’s Championship the Diamondbacks took a 1-0 lead over the Padres then failed to field a team for the second game of the series to go into the decider all square. Darier Malone proved her all round ability taking the win as pitcher for the diamondbacks in the absence of Lakeisha Claxton. Joi Ann Thomas and Karen Gonzalez both hit homers for the D’Backs
