Stunning condition in Teak with only the odd mark barely visible up close. Grills, feet, drivers etc all superb. Bass donuts need replacing (£29 on eBay) but this is common and not an issue as the sound is perfect as it is. Collection only (Cardiff) as they weigh 32 Kilos each. May be able to deliver local/M4. If you guys are right then any speaker unit can be at risk from dust. When I say its not an issue, I mean its common knowledge that the KEF 104/2's have this problem. The speakers themselves dont suffer sonically short or long term and the fact is only mentioned to make sure the buyer is informed. Of course the donuts should be replaced but without them its not the end of the World and these speakers still sound as good if not better as they are than anything up to £2000. A bargain at £350 even if they were broken in bits. If you know these speakers you will agree on that and put some positive comments towards my sale. Anyone who has heard these speakers will know they're a bargain with or without donuts, there are plenty of people you can google online who run them "as they are" just fine. If anyone is worried about dust getting into coils, perhaps half the speakers ever made are at risk? Many woofers have an exposed air gap which sucks whatever in and out around the coil. Please guys, I dont throw negative comments onto peoples sales so dont hijack my thread with nonsense. If you know what these are they are a bargain. Still available and still sound better than anything under 2 or 3 grand. Can dem with Linn/Ittok/Naim.
