Kake Kompani opened October 1, 2010, to provide local cake decorating supplies and fans as for the novice, an experienced instructor to convey the limitless possibilities of edible embellishments. Talley Shekena owner has acquired a degree in business management and decided to turn his passion into a business.While an instructor for the craft store Michael Talley, said: "I enjoyed teaching the craft, but was disappointed not to be able to find supplies of good quality in the region." She realized if she had trouble locating supplies, probably other bakers Paulding County had the same fight.

With the support of his family, Talley balances a full-time job, raising three son with her husband and the establishment Kompani Kake. From cake decorating was a hobby of hers for over five years, his enthusiasm and passion radiates as she tours the facility with new customers.His infectious enthusiasm shines as an instructor.

"Teach others to decorate the cakes is something I really enjoy and I find it very self-fulfilling," she said.

Varieties of cake decorating classes are offered and are designed to be completed in one day instead of weeks. Registration for classes to come can be easily completed and purchased online. Also available are rentals cake pan. If you do not want to buy a specialty pan for a single occasion, rent a pan is an option and can be booked online.

At the store, Kake Kompani performs a wide range of organizing garment trimmings such as beads edible dust disco, glazes, molds, color enhancements, boxes of cakes and more. Amateurs and professionals enjoy reading shelves and get inspired. I've tried every other technique I've read about, but so far, nothing has come close to the easy and fabulous look of that little shaker that costs just a few cents.  I buy mine at ABC Cake Decorating in Phoenix, and as far as I know, they're the only ones who have figured this trick out.    See the two shakers in the background with pink and blue lids?  That's because these little shakers started their lives as cupcake toppers for baby showers (I presume as faux baby powder containers).  When ABC started carrying disco dust a few years ago, one of the employees had the brilliant notion that these little cupcake toys would make the perfect disco dust applicator.  And she was right.  So very, very right.

Nicole, I really enjoy your blog and seeing all your great ideas. Can you tell me the difference in the dusts? There's Luster Dust, Petal Dust, Pixie (Disco) Dust, and Wilton Pearl Dust (and others I'm sure). Are they all edible? Why might you choose one over the other and which is the best all purpose dust? Also, I noticed your link to ABC Cake Decorating isn't working right.
